Two Martyrs, Including a Child, Due to New Israeli Violations in Gaza
SadaNews - A young man and a girl were martyred, and a woman was injured on Thursday morning by the bullets of the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip, continuing the violations of the ceasefire agreement.
The Palestinian Civil Defense reported the martyrdom of the girl Ritaj Abdul Raouf Rihan (13 years old) while she was receiving education inside a school tent at Abu Ubaida ben al-Jarrah school in the town of Beit Lahiya. The young man, Youssef Khalil Mansour, was martyred as a result of shelling from a drone in the city of Rafah.
In a related context, a woman was injured by the Israeli army's gunfire inside the Tal al-Zaatar school in Beit Lahiya.
Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement through artillery shelling, targeting displacement areas, and opening fire from vehicles and tanks, with intensified drone flights over the sector, especially in the Khan Younis areas.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, has reached 736, while the number of injuries has reached 2,035, with 759 cases of retrieval recorded.
As for the cumulative statistics since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023, the number of martyrs has reached 72,315 and 171,137 injuries, reflecting the ongoing repercussions of the aggression on the displaced people in the sector.
