Trump Threatens with "Stronger and Bigger Gunfire" if Agreement is Not Implemented

SadaNews: U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday that all U.S. ships, aircraft, military personnel, along with ammunition, weapons, and everything else appropriate and necessary, will remain stationed in Iran and its surroundings until there is full compliance with the "real agreement".

He added in a post on the "Truth Social" platform that if compliance does not occur, which he deemed "extremely unlikely", then "gunfire will start again, bigger, better, and stronger than anything anyone has seen before".

Trump also affirmed that the agreement has long stipulated, despite what he described as "misleading propaganda", that no nuclear weapons should be possessed and that the Strait of Hormuz must remain open and secure.

He noted that the U.S. military is "currently enhancing its readiness", adding that it is "actually looking forward to its next mission".

He concluded by stating: "America is back".

White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt confirmed on Wednesday that the intensity of Trump's rhetoric was a crucial factor in reaching an agreement with Iran.

Levitt explained that the initial Iranian proposal "was unacceptable and was abandoned", pointing to U.S. pressures that pushed Tehran to make concessions, including "agreeing to open the Strait of Hormuz".

She added that "Trump asserts that the operation in Iran achieved its objectives", noting that the United States "achieved its main goals and crushed Iran's ability to manufacture weapons", also emphasizing that Tehran "is no longer able to support its allies as it did in the past".

Levitt considered the ceasefire "a victory for the United States", while also confirming that "Trump's red lines regarding Iran have not changed".
