Arrests in the West Bank and Jerusalem Include Released Prisoners and Children
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces stormed many areas in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem on Monday morning and dawn, carrying out arrest operations targeting Palestinians from various cities and towns, in addition to raiding dozens of homes and mistreating their residents after subjecting them to interrogations for several hours.
In the city of Qalqilya, occupation vehicles entered the city from its eastern entrance and raided the neighborhoods of Kafr Saba, Al-Nakar, and Al-Midan, arresting five Palestinians, including the injured Saleem Sa'adah and the released prisoners Ghassan Jibril, Amjad Zaid, Aboud Al-Haj Hassan, and Iyad Nufal. They also temporarily detained released prisoner Marwan Dawood after searching his home, according to the Prisoners Club.
In Nablus Governorate, occupation forces raided the town of Barqa northwest of the city and searched several houses, arresting young man Adham Basem Saif.
In occupied Jerusalem, three people were injured by occupation gunfire during the storming of Qalandiya camp, and several young men were beaten. The forces also raided the town of Hizma and carried out land leveling and uprooting of about 200 trees.
In Ramallah, occupation forces arrested young man Moamen Afana after storming his home in the Al-Masyoun neighborhood, while Bethlehem witnessed the closure of several entrances and the arrest of the head of the village council in An-Nu'man and his son.
In Hebron, the forces carried out arrests targeting Palestinians, including three children. They also raided the municipalities of Beit Furik and Roujeib east of Nablus and the town of Silwad northeast of Ramallah, searching dozens of homes and tampering with their contents amid a heavy presence of occupation vehicles in the targeted areas.
