Two killed and two missing under the rubble in Haifa after Iranian attack (Video)
SadaNews - Rescue teams in Israel announced the recovery of two bodies from beneath the rubble of a building in the city of Haifa, which had been hit by an Iranian missile attack yesterday, Sunday.
They added that rescue operations, ongoing for hours, are still in progress to reach two other individuals trapped or missing.
The recovery came following extensive search and rescue efforts that lasted for hours among the debris, due to the damage inflicted on the building as a result of the shelling.
Earlier, Iran launched a new wave of missiles towards Israel, striking a residential building in Haifa.
Israeli health authorities reported several injuries, as well as the loss of four individuals under the rubble.
Explosive warheads and shrapnel also fell in about 10 locations within the city of Haifa and its surroundings following the Iranian attack this morning.
Reports indicated that explosive warheads fell in the areas of "Kiryat" and "Nesher" and "Kiryat Ata" in the suburbs of Haifa, resulting in significant damage to buildings and vehicles.
The fall of a cluster bomb also caused extensive destruction, coinciding with the outbreak of fires in several locations within the city, amid ongoing efforts to contain the damage and control the fires.
Israeli emergency services reported four minor injuries in Haifa due to smoke inhalation following the recent missile shelling.
