Report: A Deception Operation Preceded the Rescue of the American Officer from the Mountains of Iran
Translation by SadaNews: A senior U.S. official revealed to "Fox News" that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) conducted a deception operation inside Iran prior to locating the weapons monitoring officer who was on the downed aircraft.
According to the official, as translated by SadaNews, the agency disseminated false information stating that U.S. forces had located the officer and were transporting him overland out of the country, causing confusion within Iran and allowing the U.S. military more time to intensify the search for him.
The report indicates that the agency was later able to pinpoint the officer's location thanks to its "unique and advanced capabilities," and informed the White House of the developments. The operation was described as akin to searching for a needle in a haystack, as the officer was hiding in a deep mountainous valley, out of sight, and could only be detected by the CIA.
Following the identification of his location, President Donald Trump ordered an immediate rescue operation, which was carried out by the U.S. Central Command forces, successfully extracting the officer from the mountainous area in a complex and rapid operation.
