Trump to Iran: You Have 48 Hours Before Hell Descends Upon You

SadaNews - On Saturday, U.S. President Donald Trump reminded Iran that there are only 48 hours left in the deadline he set for it to reach an agreement to end the war that has been ongoing for more than a month, warning that it will face "hell" if it does not do so.

Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, "Do you remember when I gave Iran ten days to make a deal or face the closure of the Strait of Hormuz? Time is running out, you have 48 hours before hell descends upon them!".

The war between the United States and Iran has entered its sixth week, amidst escalating political and military rhetoric, with the focus shifting from aerial strikes to a broader conflict over the Strait of Hormuz and infrastructure. Iran stated that an area near its nuclear facility in Bushehr was attacked, resulting in the death of a guard and the destruction of a building.

This comes after two U.S. fighter jets crashed on Friday, a rare development, with one jet falling inside Iranian territory, leading to a search and rescue operation for its crew, while the "New York Times" reported that a second U.S. combat aircraft, an A-10 Warthog, crashed near the Strait of Hormuz, and its pilot was rescued.

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that his country is capable, with more time, of opening the Strait of Hormuz and "taking the oil and making a fortune." His remarks came a day after he hinted at striking Iranian bridges and power stations, also stating that the U.S. military "has not yet started destroying what remains in Iran."

This statement came 48 hours before the end of Trump's deadline regarding the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, or else attacking Iranian power stations, while he also hinted at expanding the target bank within Iran to include bridges and power plants, as the war continued to disrupt markets and increase pressures on his administration.

U.S. and Israeli airstrikes continue on several cities in Iran, which retaliates by targeting Israel and American facilities with missiles and drones.

In the latest field developments, Iranian media reported that explosions shook Pishva, southeast of Tehran province.

The latest U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran targeted several sites. In addition to the petrochemical complex in Ahvaz and the surrounding area of the Bushehr nuclear base, a munitions depot and a base for the Revolutionary Guards' ground forces in Isfahan, the eighth tactical airbase in Isfahan, the 10th base of the Iranian army in Sistan and Baluchestan province, military bases and missile launch platforms in the mountains north of Tehran, an optical and nuclear research institute at Beheshti University in Tehran, and maritime docks in the port of Jarak in Hormozgan were targeted.

The U.S. and Israeli strikes also targeted a cement factory in southern Iran, according to local media reports on Saturday, confirming it did not halt production operations.

Iran also stated that an area near its nuclear facility in Bushehr was attacked, resulting in the death of a guard and the destruction of a building.

In response, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced targeting a ship linked to Israel in the Strait of Hormuz with a drone. According to a statement from the naval forces of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, which was reported by the "Fars" news agency, a drone struck the "MSC Ishika," a ship linked to Israel in the Strait of Hormuz, leading to a large fire on board the ship.

In Israel, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced targeting Israeli industrial and military centers as part of wave 94 of Operation "Promised Victory-4".

The statement from the Revolutionary Guards, as reported by Iranian broadcasting and television, indicated that targets in Tel Aviv, Dimona, the Negev, Beersheba, and Ramat Gan were struck using kamikaze drones and "Imad", "Kheibar Shakan", and "Khoramshahr" missiles.
