Israel Announces Results of Its Strikes in Iran Since the Beginning of the War
SadaNews - The Israeli occupation army announced on Wednesday an initial tally of its military operations against Iran, revealing that it has carried out hundreds of sorties and thousands of strikes since the start of the war.
The army stated in a statement that it has conducted over 800 offensive sorties, during which approximately 10,000 strikes targeted nearly 4,000 sites within Iran, using around 16,000 different munitions.
The statement continued: "It can now be revealed that, following an intensive reconnaissance and planning operation led by Israeli intelligence and the air force after the operation "Lion's Roar", over 5,000 new targets were identified, including thousands of terrorist elements that were subsequently targeted during the operation."
It pointed out that the operations were not limited to the Iranian front, but extended to other fronts, where approximately 7,000 additional targets were targeted in various theaters, in what it described as "multi-front combat".
On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel will continue its military campaign and will persist in "crushing the terrorist regime in Iran", emphasizing that the war, which began over a month ago, "is not over".
Netanyahu's positions came following the announcement by Iranian President Masoud Bazazkian that his country has the "will to end the war", but it seeks "guarantees against the repetition of aggression".
