SadaNews - The UAE announced on Tuesday that specialized teams successfully extinguished the fire that affected a Kuwaiti oil tanker in Dubai.

The media office of the Government of Dubai stated in a post on its "X" account: "The relevant authorities in Dubai confirmed that the teams successfully extinguished the fire that affected the Kuwaiti oil tanker. The concerned teams continue to assess the situation and take necessary measures, and any information will be shared as it becomes available."

Earlier on Tuesday morning, the media office of the Government of Dubai stated: "The relevant authorities in Dubai confirmed their handling of an incident caused by a drone that targeted a Kuwaiti oil tanker in Dubai waters (E Anchorage) without reporting any injuries."

The office added: "The specialized teams in Dubai are currently continuing firefighting operations on the Kuwaiti oil tanker, with no injuries reported. The safety of all 24 crew members has been secured."

Additionally, on Tuesday, the UAE announced that the relevant authorities in Dubai were dealing with a fire incident at a house caused by debris from an air defense interception operation.

The media office of the Government of Dubai reported in a post on its "X" account that the relevant authorities in Dubai: "Dealt with a fire incident in an abandoned house in the Al-Bida area due to debris resulting from an air defense interception operation."

According to the office, "Four minor injuries were reported for individuals near the house."

The media office of the Government of Sharjah also announced that the relevant authorities handled an incident resulting from an attack on an administrative building in the central region by a drone coming from Iran on Monday.

The media office of the Government of Sharjah stated in a post on its "X" account that the relevant authorities in the Emirate of Sharjah: "Handled on Monday, March 30, an incident resulting from the targeting of the administrative building of Thuraya Telecommunications in the central region by a drone coming from Iran."

On Tuesday morning, the UAE Ministry of Defense stated in a post on its "X" account: "The UAE air defenses are currently dealing with missile and drone attacks coming from Iran."

The ministry added: "The Ministry of Defense confirms that the sounds heard in various parts of the country are a result of the engagement of the UAE air defense systems with ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones."
