Trump: A Near Agreement or Total Destruction of Vital Infrastructure and Iranian Energy Facilities
SadaNews - U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened a wide escalation against Iran, conditioning any near agreement and the opening of the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for refraining from targeting vital facilities, including power stations, oil wells, and Kharq Island, amidst the ongoing Israeli-American war on Iran.
Trump stated in a post on the "Truth Social" platform that "the United States is having serious discussions with a new and more rational regime, aimed at ending our military operations in Iran," adding that "significant progress has been made."
He further threatened, "But if a near agreement is not reached, which is likely to happen, and if the Strait of Hormuz is not immediately opened to navigation, we will end our 'beautiful stay' in Iran by blowing up and completely destroying all power generation stations, oil wells, and Kharq Island."
He added, correcting himself, "And perhaps also all water desalination plants!" indicating that they have "deliberately refrained from touching these sites until now." He claimed that this action comes as "revenge for our soldiers and others whom Iran has killed over 47 years" of what he described as the "terrorist regime," according to his expression.
