Lebanese Health Ministry: 7 Martyrs in an Israeli Airstrike Near Tyre, Southern Lebanon
SadaNews - The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of 7 people and the injury of 9 others in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Haniyya in Tyre, southern Lebanon.
The Israeli air force carried out fire zones on several villages in southern Lebanon, targeting Marjeyoun, Nabatieh, Haniyya, and other towns.
According to the Israeli army, more than 170 infrastructures belonging to Hezbollah were targeted during the weekend.
In contrast, the Israeli occupation army announced the death of a soldier and the injury of 3 others during clashes in southern Lebanon.
On another note, Lebanese Health Minister Rakan Nasser al-Din stated that 9 hospitals were targeted by Israeli attacks, resulting in 5 of them ceasing operations.
He pointed out that more than 18 attacks on paramedics had been recorded, leading to damage to 48 ambulances. He also confirmed the death of 51 paramedics as a result of these attacks since March 2nd.
For his part, Lebanese Information Minister Paul Merchos stated that he, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has taken the necessary measures to file a complaint before the United Nations Security Council regarding the targeting of journalists in Lebanon.
He confirmed that he will raise the available legal options before Lebanon in the upcoming government session.
