Raid in the West Bank and Jerusalem includes arrests of workers from Gaza in Tulkarem
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale campaign of raids and arrests at dawn and on Sunday morning in several areas of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, targeting several Palestinians, including a woman.
The campaign involved storming homes, searching them, and mistreating their owners, in addition to subjecting them to field investigations after detaining them for hours, as reported by the Palestinian Prisoners Club.
The governorates of the West Bank witnessed intensive military movements since the early hours of dawn, which included sporadic clashes between Palestinian youth and the storming occupation vehicles in some areas.
At the same time, the occupation forces carried out similar incursions in various neighborhoods of Jerusalem, where occupation vehicles were deployed and temporary checkpoints were set up to search pedestrians and hinder their movements.
In Nablus, the occupation forces arrested Ms. Ola Qaddoura, her son Saif Faqha, and young man Muhammad Ramzi after raiding their homes in the village of Talouza northeast of the city.
The village of Beit Amrin also witnessed a large incursion that included storming homes, searching them, vandalizing their contents, and conducting field investigations.
In Jericho, the occupation forces arrested Rashad Al-Alam, Amin Abu Qatam, and Baha Al-Alam during a raid on Aqbat Jabr refugee camp, while they stormed the home of released prisoner Ayman Muhammad Muaqdi in the town of Al-Zawiya west of Salfit and arrested him.
The occupation forces also arrested young man Omar Bilal Abu Lutfi in the town of Jayyous in Qalqilya after raiding his home, and young man Jihad Shuman in the village of Abu Falakh northeast of Ramallah, in addition to storming the city of Dura south of Hebron and the town of Ein Misbah in the city of Al-Bireh, where young man Nidal Jamal Abiyat was arrested after searching his home and tampering with its contents.
In Tulkarem, the occupation forces raided several homes and arrested Ahmad Matrouk and a number of workers from the Gaza Strip, after military reinforcements and imposing a security cordon around the Martyr Thabit Thabit roundabout and the Ottoman Seraya building. They also stormed the Dhannaba neighborhood and the towns of Anabta and Zita, vandalizing the contents of many homes.
This comes amidst the continued aggression on the city of Tulkarem and its refugee camps "Tulkarem" and "Nur Shams" for the 427th consecutive day, amid a tight siege and preventing residents of the camps from reaching their homes.
