1189 Martyrs in Lebanon: Ongoing Israeli Airstrikes and Hezbollah Launches Two Salvos Towards the Outskirts of Wadi Ara and Karmiel
SadaNews - Hezbollah launched two rocket salvos early this Sunday, the first towards Wadi Ara, Zichron Ya'akov, Pardes Hanna, and the surrounding area, with Israeli reports indicating one rocket was intercepted, while the other was directed towards the Karmiel area, triggering air raid sirens in several towns east of it, including Rameh, Kfar Kanna, and in Hurfeish and Fascoota and their vicinity in the Western Galilee.
The toll of casualties from the Israeli war on Lebanon has risen to 1189 martyrs and 3427 injured according to the latest figures reported by the Ministry of Health in the country on Saturday evening, while Hezbollah continued its attacks on Israeli gatherings, sites, and towns, some near the border and others in the north with rocket shells and drones.
This comes amid ongoing Israeli bombardment and ground invasion of Lebanese territory, where many citizens were martyred on Saturday, including journalists and paramedics. In contrast, the Israeli army announced that 9 officers and soldiers had sustained serious and moderate injuries as clashes with Hezbollah fighters continued on several fronts.
The Israeli army also announced the extension of restrictions imposed on civil defense instructions, keeping them unchanged until Monday at 8 PM. Meanwhile, the Ministerial Security and Political Cabinet (the "kabinett") will convene tonight to discuss and assess the situation in light of the ongoing war on Iran and Lebanon.
The Lebanese Minister of Health announced 51 martyrs from the health sector due to the Israeli bombardments since March 2nd, while the Lebanese army announced the martyrdom of one of its personnel in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Deir al-Zahrani in the south of the country.
