Iran Notifies the "International Atomic Energy Agency" of a "Third" Attack on the Bushehr Nuclear Facility
SadaNews - The International Atomic Energy Agency announced today (Saturday) that Iran reported a new attack on the Bushehr nuclear facility in the south of the country, the third within 10 days.
The agency wrote on the "X" platform, quoting Iranian officials: "No news has been reported regarding any damage to the operational reactor or any radioactive emissions, and the situation at the facility is normal."
Last Tuesday, the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization accused the United States and Israel of attacking the Bushehr station, stating that a projectile fell in the area surrounding the station without causing any damage.
Two weeks ago, the agency reported that the Bushehr nuclear plant in southern Iran was struck by a "projectile" that did not result in damage to the infrastructure or any injuries. Russia, which has experts working at the facility, condemned the strike and described it as "irresponsible."
It is noteworthy that Israel expanded its target bank within Iran yesterday (Friday), focusing on nuclear facilities and missile production sites, in a escalation that included striking the heavy water facility in Arak, alongside targeting steel factories and industrial structures, threatening to broaden the attacks.
