Israel: We Attacked Over 3,000 Targets Belonging to the Iranian Regime
SadaNews - The Israeli occupation army announced on Tuesday that it has attacked more than 3,000 targets belonging to the Iranian regime as part of a military operation dubbed "Lion's Roar."
The Israeli occupation army clarified in a statement that during yesterday (Monday) and the night of Tuesday, it carried out waves of attacks on missile sites in western and central Iran and headquarters in Tehran, noting that it continues to deepen its targeting of all systems and capabilities of the Iranian regime.
It added that the Israeli Air Force "completed, with intelligence guidance from the Military Intelligence Division, a wave of extensive attacks on infrastructure belonging to the Iranian regime in the heart of Tehran yesterday."
The statement also mentioned that as part of the attacks, "several central headquarters of the Iranian regime were targeted, including two locations of the intelligence apparatus within the Revolutionary Guard and an additional headquarters of the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence, according to the Israeli army's statement."
It indicated that "at the same time, warehouses used for storing weaponry and air defense systems were targeted, with the aim of expanding the air superiority of the Air Force over Iranian skies."
It was also reported that "the Air Force attacked more than 50 targets during the night in northern and central Iran, including sites that were used for launching and storing ballistic missiles."
It emphasized that these attacks are part of a phase to deepen strikes against the core systems of the Iranian regime and its essential infrastructure.
