Trump Affirms Commitment to the Principle of 'Peace Through Strength'
SadaNews - On Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump emphasized the principle of "peace through strength," referring to his vision for managing foreign policy.
Trump wrote in a post on his "Truth Social" platform: "Peace through strength, so to speak."
Earlier, Trump renewed his threats to Iran, ahead of the two-day deadline he set for the country to open the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump told Channel 13 in Israel on Sunday evening, "The consequences will be clear very soon."
The U.S. president sent a stern message to the Iranian regime, saying: "You will soon know what will happen concerning the warning about targeting power stations. The result will be very good. There will be total destruction of Iran, and it will be very effective."
Trump had given Iran a 48-hour deadline to open the Strait of Hormuz, warning of attacks targeting its power stations if it did not comply with his request.
