A Martyr and Several Injuries Due to Occupation Shelling in Gaza City
SadaNews - A citizen was martyred today, Sunday, and others were injured following shelling by the occupation in Gaza City.
Palestinian news agency reported, citing medical sources, that a martyr and several injuries arrived after the occupation shelled a group of citizens near the old court in the Sheikh Radwan Bridge area of Gaza City.
A Palestinian child was injured on Saturday from occupation bullets in the Al-Mawasi area in Rafah City, southern Gaza Strip, on the second day of Eid al-Fitr.
A medical source reported the injury of a child from the Al-Mawasi area by fire from the Israeli army stationed in the western parts of Rafah City.
Israeli artillery also shelled the northwestern areas of Rafah, according to eyewitnesses.
In the center of the strip, Israeli army vehicles intermittently fired near the eastern area of Al-Bureij camp.
The Israeli army continues to commit daily violations of the ceasefire agreement with shelling and gunfire.
The agreement came into effect on October 10, 2025, under the mediation of Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, with the sponsorship of U.S. President Donald Trump, as part of a plan developed by him that includes several stages to stop the war in Gaza.
With American support, the Israeli occupation launched a genocide war in Gaza on October 8, 2023, that lasted two years, resulting in more than 72,000 martyrs and about 172,000 Palestinian injuries, and extensive destruction affecting 90% of civilian infrastructure.
