New Statistics Reveal the Scale of Israeli Airstrikes on Iran

SadaNews - The Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post revealed details of an enumeration of Israeli attacks on Iran during the war initiated by Israel and America against Iran on February 28 last.

The newspaper claimed that Israeli airstrikes have now become famous for the 40/40 rule, which resulted in the death of 40 Iranian leaders with 40 bombs in 40 seconds.

It added that since the first day of the war, Israel dropped 12,000 bombs on Iran, including 3,600 bombs on Tehran alone.

It explained that Israel dispatched 45 waves of fighter jets to strike central and western Iran, and another 50 waves to more distant areas, totaling 5,700 air sorties.

In Lebanon, the Israeli Air Force dropped 2,200 bombs during 1,000 sorties, targeting - according to the newspaper - 220 Hezbollah sites, in addition to 100 targets in various parts of Lebanon.

The war recorded over 41,000 American and Israeli attacks targeting about 6,000 sites within Iran in two weeks, while Tehran responded by launching successive waves of missiles and drones at Israel and other targets in the region, in about 51 offensive waves.

The data indicates that the American-Israeli strikes primarily focused on western Iran, which includes a large number of military and economic facilities, in addition to sites related to Iran's missile and nuclear programs.

In contrast, Iranian strikes targeted deep into Israel, with a particular focus on central Israel, especially the Tel Aviv area, which is considered the center of economic and political gravity for Israel, in addition to targets located as far south as Eilat, not to mention the attacks that affected Gulf countries, which claim they target American goals but instead hit civilian facilities, resulting in civilian casualties.

According to estimates from the "Airwars" organization, the first 100 hours of the war on Iran included targeting about 4,000 sites, a figure that significantly exceeds air campaigns which lasted for months and even years.

The American military announced that it conducted more than 2,000 airstrikes during the first four days, while the Israeli occupation army revealed the destruction of at least 300 Iranian defense systems, and carried out about 750 strikes in Tehran alone, in addition to targeting hundreds of sites related to command and control systems.

In just the first 24 hours, the Israeli army claimed it targeted around 500 sites.

Based on this data, it is estimated that the total number of targets struck by the United States and Israel during the first four days exceeded 4,000 targets, averaging nearly 1,000 targets daily, using more than 5,000 bombs in about 2,500 airstrikes.

Field data reveals a heavy human cost of the conflict; in Iran, the "Hirana" agency - based in America - reported 3,114 deaths, including 1,354 civilians and 207 children, while official Iranian estimates indicate at least 1,332 people have been killed, including the Supreme Leader and hundreds of officials.

In Lebanon, authorities documented 968 deaths, including over 100 children, while in Iraq, there were 60 fatalities, mostly from the Popular Mobilization Forces.

Despite Israel imposing strict military censorship on the publication of details of its real losses, while the "Institute for National Security Studies" in Israel only documents 16 killed, field facts indicate a massive toll of 4,099 wounded.

Regarding American forces, reports have revealed the deaths of 13 American soldiers and injuries to about 200 others since the beginning of the war.
