Ministry of Health: The death toll from the "Beit Awa missile" incident rises to 4 martyrs, including a pregnant woman

SadaNews - The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the incident of shrapnel falling on a beauty salon in the town of Beit Awa, last night, Wednesday, has risen to 4 martyrs, after a pregnant woman was killed.

The ministry added that the fourth martyr is citizen Asil Samir Masalama (32 years old), who is six months pregnant.

The ministry indicated that Dura Governmental Hospital received 3 martyrs and 4 injuries last night, including a serious injury to a pregnant woman who was transferred to the الأهلي Hospital in Hebron, where she was later reported to have died, in addition to a critical injury to a child whose condition has been stabilized, along with two minor injuries.

It continued that the blood banks were on high alert and no shortages or deficits were recorded.

It noted that the medical staff at Dura Governmental Hospital, reinforced by teams from Hebron Governmental Hospital, managed and controlled the injuries, while some were transferred to hospitals in the governorate.

The Ministry of Health praised the coordination that took place between its staff and the Red Crescent teams and the private hospitals, which contributed to saving the lives of the injured.
