Israeli Estimates: The War on Iran Will Continue for Several More Weeks
SadaNews - Security and political entities in Israel estimate that the war on Iran will continue for additional weeks.
According to what was reported by the newspaper "Yediot Ahronot," these estimates were presented during the cabinet meeting that took place last night, Wednesday, and continued past midnight.
During the meeting, ministers were briefed on the developments of the war against Iran and Lebanon.
The report quoted participants in the session stating that the war plan "is proceeding as planned," and that the Israeli army and the Mossad "are achieving the specified objectives," as they put it.
During the session, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, Eyal Zamir, addressed the rise in settlers' attacks in the West Bank, pointing to a "significant increase in what he termed national crime."
Conversely, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir criticized the raising of the issue of settler violence, considering that the active leadership in the central region of the occupied West Bank "acts like an elephant in a china shop."
Ben Gvir also criticized the evacuation operations of settlement outposts, claiming that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu decided to carry out evacuation operations only in the outposts experiencing "violence," in his words.
