Ongoing Iranian Rocket Attacks on Israel
SadaNews - The US-Israeli war on Iran continues into its third week, amidst a noticeable escalation in the pace of military operations and the geographical spread of conflict, while Iran continues to send rockets towards Israel.
Rocket attacks were repeated on Thursday morning, affecting areas in central and southern Israel as well as settlements in the West Bank. Notably, a guided missile was launched towards Tel Aviv in one of several barrages throughout the day.
The Israeli Home Front Command announced the detection of rockets fired from Iran towards Israel for the second time in less than an hour, amid a rising state of alert.
Warnings covered areas extending from east of Tel Aviv to the city of Ashkelon, near the Gaza Strip borders, as well as Jerusalem and its suburbs, and the settlements in the West Bank and the Hadera area, where sirens sounded in several locations with early warnings activated in preparation for any developments.
Three explosions were reported in the Tel Aviv area after the Israeli military announced the detection of rockets launched from Iran.
The Israeli military stated in a press release that it "recently detected rockets launched from Iran" towards Israel, adding that "air defense systems are working to intercept the threat."
A second guided rocket was launched towards the greater Tel Aviv area since early Thursday as tensions continue to rise.
Sources reported the sounds of explosions in both Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, coinciding with debris falling on one of the buildings, causing material damage, though there were no additional details on the extent of losses or injuries.
