Lebanese Health: The Number of Martyrs from the Israeli Aggression Rises to 968 and the Injured to 2432

SadaNews - The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced in its daily report issued by the Health Emergency Operations Center regarding the developments of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, that the total number of martyrs since March 2 until March 18 has reached 968, and the number of injured is 2432.

The Israeli occupation army continued its aerial and artillery bombardment on various areas of Lebanon today, Wednesday, resulting in martyrs, injuries, and the destruction of dozens of buildings and infrastructure.

This morning, the occupation army launched an airstrike targeting a residential building in downtown Beirut, completely destroying it.

The occupation’s aircraft also targeted a residential building in al-Zuqaq al-Blat in downtown Beirut, resulting in the death of two martyrs and several injuries.

Additionally, the occupation's aircraft bombed a civilian vehicle in the city of Sidon, leading to two martyrs, while an airstrike on a residential building in the area of Ras al-Ain in the Beqaa resulted in 4 martyrs and 7 injured.

The occupation army destroyed several bridges over the Litani River connecting Lebanese towns in the south, coinciding with a warning issued by the occupation army for residents located south of the Zahrani River to head north.

The occupation's aircraft and artillery bombarded the cities of Sidon and Nabatieh and the towns of Qaqaiya al-Jisr, Khiyam, Ainatha, Tull, Qasimiyah, Deir Kifa, Kherbet Selm, Eastern, Kounine, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Zibqin, Al-Jimijma, Deir Zahrani, Shukayn, Kafr Tabnit, Harouf, Kafra, Qlay'a, Jadida Marhoun, Abl al-Saqi, Burj al-Shamali, Bayt Yahoun, Burj Qaliyeh, and Dabin in southern Lebanon, as well as the towns of Mashghara, Sahmar, and Yahmur in the Beqaa of eastern Lebanon.

The Ministry of Health announced in a statement that the death toll from the Israeli airstrikes launched early today on the areas of al-Basta and al-Zuqaq al-Blat in the capital Beirut has risen to 10 martyrs and 27 injured.
