Israel Prepares to Start International Stabilization Force in Gaza Beginning Next May

SadaNews - The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported on Saturday evening, March 14, 2026, that Israel is preparing to begin a new phase of the plan related to U.S. President Donald Trump's proposal regarding the Gaza Strip, which includes the deployment of an international stabilization force comprising thousands of foreign troops within the sector. According to the report, the foreign military force is expected to start its operations in the Gaza Strip at the beginning of May, where it will initially be deployed around the Palestinian city being built by the United Arab Emirates in the Rafah area, before expanding its deployment later in other areas within what is known as the "yellow line." The report indicated that the proposed force could include about 5,000 soldiers from Indonesia, along with dozens of soldiers from Kazakhstan, Morocco, Albania, and Kosovo. According to the provided information, representatives from those countries are expected to arrive in Israel by the end of March for preliminary tours in the Gaza Strip, despite the ongoing regional confrontations, including the escalation with Iran.
