Regional Source: The United States has Given Israel a Week to End the War in Iran
SadaNews Translation - A senior political source in the Middle East said on Thursday evening that the United States is seeking to end its campaign in Iran and has given Israel only a one-week deadline to achieve this.
The same source told the Hebrew newspaper Yisrael Hayom, as translated by SadaNews, that the regime in Tehran will not change, as its change requires a ground military invasion or the resumption of protests, which is unlikely in the near future.
According to the same source, there is a significant difference in the United States' view of the war, as its focus is on oil prices, compared to Israel, which regards the war as an achievement and celebrates it.
The source also addressed the issue of Lebanon and Hezbollah, stating that despite Israel's elimination of the former Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, the organization still exists, as does Hamas.
The source believes that Israel is mistaken in not having exhausted all diplomatic channels after its military achievements, and that regional countries are capable of assisting in this regard.
Furthermore, the source did not hesitate to criticize the Israeli government regarding what is happening in the West Bank, stating that some parts of the government include extremist elements that exploit the campaign against Iran to impose realities on the ground and displace Palestinians from their residences.
The source clarified that the Israeli government is missing an opportunity to calm the situation in the region, including the Gaza Strip, and to take diplomatic steps.
