SadaNews: The Israeli warplanes targeted several locations in eastern and southern Lebanon today, Thursday, while the occupation army transferred large reinforcements to the north, indicating a potential deepening of its ground deployment in Lebanon, according to the Jerusalem Post.

Media sources reported that the Israeli air force conducted strikes on the town of Qasrnis, in Baalbek, and the Qantar bridge in the Hijeer Valley, and the towns of Rashaf, Yatir, and Qaqaiyat al-Jisr in the Nabatyeh district and the vicinity of the town of Qantar in southern Lebanon.

It was also reported that an Israeli drone attacked the vicinity of the town of Tulain in the Marjeyoun district in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli army issued evacuation warnings to residents of a building in Dourous in Baabda, eastern Lebanon, and to the neighboring residents to evacuate.

The spokesperson for the Israeli army urged residents to vacate those buildings due to their proximity to infrastructure used by Hezbollah, calling on them - in a tweet on X platform - to maintain a distance of at least 300 meters.

Meanwhile, the Jerusalem Post predicted that the Israeli army will carry out approximately one thousand attacks in Lebanon in the coming days, including dozens of major strikes in Hezbollah's stronghold in the suburbs of Beirut.

The paper stated that Hezbollah "has more than a thousand long-range missiles to continue shelling the Israeli home front, in addition to tens of thousands of short-range missiles.".

Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir ordered on Wednesday significant reinforcements to be sent to the north, indicating the possibility of deepening the Israeli army's ground deployment in Lebanon.

The newspaper quoted the Israeli army stating that Zamir issued instructions to reinforce the northern command and transfer the Golani Brigade from southern operations in Gaza to the northern sector.

The Israeli army had previously sent divisions 36 and 91 deeper than originally planned in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli army reported an increase in direct confrontations with Hezbollah on the ground in southern Lebanon, with repeated reports of "killing combat cells discovered during its patrols in new areas." Additionally, the Israeli army is uncovering more areas in southern Lebanon where Hezbollah has concealed weapons.

The newspaper adds that "despite these successes, Hezbollah has carried out several ambushes targeting Israeli army forces.".

In turn, Yedioth Ahronoth revealed that the Israeli army has established an additional 18 positions in southern Lebanon since the current war began on March 2, adding that "it is preparing to implement the Gaza model on Lebanese territory.".

The newspaper indicated that prior to the war, the Israeli army had 5 permanent positions within Lebanon, which are kind of permanent structures, noting that there are now 18 additional positions deeper in the region, and the role of the (Israeli) forces is to hunt down the fighters of the Radwan force, referring to the elite forces of Hezbollah.

Now, 3 brigades are operating in southern Lebanon, and to complete the mission, a large reserve mobilization will be needed, and Israel is preparing to expand the war against Hezbollah, according to the newspaper.

The Israeli aggression on Lebanon has resulted in the death of 634 individuals and injured more than 1586, displacing about 817,000 people, according to Lebanese authorities on Tuesday evening.
