Weitkoff: I Will Visit Israel to Coordinate on the War against Iran
SadaNews - On Tuesday, during an interview with CNBC, U.S. Special Envoy Steve Weitkoff stated that it is likely he will visit Israel next week to coordinate regarding military plans against Iran.
In this context, Weitkoff indicated that Russia denied providing Iran with intelligence related to U.S. military assets or any other information.
Weitkoff added that this denial came during a phone call that President Donald Trump had yesterday, Monday, with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
He noted that nearly all of Iran's capability to enrich uranium has been destroyed.
Regarding negotiations with Iran, he said: "Let's see if the Iranians are willing to talk."
He added: "President Trump is ready to negotiate, but will that be fruitful with the Iranians or not?"
He continued: "If the new leader of Iran continues along the same path as his father, that poses a problem for him."
He concluded: "President Trump has drawn a red line: Iran cannot possess nuclear weapons."
