Due to Settler Attacks: 3 Families Forced to Leave Atof Southeast of Tubas
SadaNews - Three families from the Atof area southeast of Tubas dismantled their homes and tents last night and began to leave due to the escalating assaults and ongoing threats from settlers against them.
Motasem Basharat, the official in charge of the Jordan Valley file in Tubas Governorate, reported that three families were forced to dismantle their homes and tents in the eastern area of Atof and leave after the increase in settler assaults in the region, accompanied by repeated threats that forced the families to leave forcibly.
He pointed out that in recent times, several families have been displaced from herding communities surrounding Tubas and northern Jordan Valley areas due to the ongoing settler assaults that continue around the clock, including attacking citizens' homes, assaulting and intimidating them, in addition to pursuing shepherds in the pastures, stealing or killing their livestock.
