Iranian Military Official: We Will Intensify Our Offensive Operations Starting Tonight
SadaNews - An Iranian military official announced today, Sunday, that the army will intensify its offensive operations starting tonight against Israel and the United States.
The semi-official Iranian news agency 'Fars' quoted an unnamed military official saying that "the escalation of brutality by the United States and Israel against the interests of the Iranian people will lead to a significant increase in the offensive operations carried out by the armed forces."
The military official mentioned that the Iranian army will double the use of strategic missiles carrying heavy warheads, in addition to intensifying the use of drones.
He added: "This measure has been taken to provide overwhelming deterrence against any military adventure that threatens the interests of our country and our citizens."
Since February 28, Israel and the United States have been launching attacks on Iran, resulting in hundreds of deaths, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and security officials, while Tehran responds with missile and drone strikes towards Israel.
Iran is also targeting what it describes as "American interests" in the Gulf countries, Jordan, and Iraq with missiles and drones, causing casualties and damage to civilian property, which has been condemned by the targeted Arab countries, calling for an end to these aggressions.
