Trump: There Will Be No Agreement with Iran Except for Unconditional Surrender

SadaNews - U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Friday that there will be no agreement with Iran other than "unconditional surrender."

This statement came in a post written by Trump today, in which he said, "There will be no agreement with Iran except for unconditional surrender," after the White House announced that "Iran's ballistic missile attacks have decreased by 90%", noting that Trump is "in close contact with all our regional partners."

Trump added that "after choosing great and acceptable leaders, we will work with many of our partners to save Iran from the brink of collapse."

He continued: "We will work with allies and partners to save it from the brink of collapse and to strengthen its economy."

"The process in Iran is going excellently"

Trump mentioned that "the process in Iran is going excellently, and we are performing very well."

He added that "the rise in energy prices is temporary and will fall soon."

The U.S. President stated, "We have destroyed the Iranian navy, and Iran is no longer capable of doing what it used to do."

He pointed out that "Gulf countries are fighting, and Iran made a grave mistake by launching attacks against them, and the UAE will freeze Iranian assets."

The Iranian President says some countries "have started mediation efforts" to end the war

In contrast, before Trump wrote his post, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that some countries have started mediation efforts to end the war with the United States and Israel, but he emphasized that any such efforts should be directed toward the party that started the war.

Pezeshkian wrote in a post on the "X" platform, that "some countries have started mediation efforts. Let us be clear: We are committed to a permanent peace in the region, but we do not hesitate to defend the dignity and sovereignty of our nation."

He added, "Mediation must address those who have undermined the Iranian people and sparked this conflict."

The U.S. House of Representatives rejected on Thursday the "War Powers" bill aimed at subjecting President Donald Trump's attacks on Iran to Congress's approval.

212 members of the House voted in favor of the resolution, while 219 votes rejected it. Thus, the bill proposed by Republican Representative Thomas Massie and Democratic Representative Ro Khanna, which aimed to prevent Trump from taking any military action against Iran without Congress's approval, was not accepted.

Since February 28, Israel and the United States have been conducting attacks on Iran, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of people, including leader Ali Khamenei and security officials, while Tehran responds by launching missile strikes and drones towards Israel.

Tehran retaliates by attacking what it describes as "American interests" in Arab countries, leaving casualties and injuries and causing damage to civilian facilities, including ports and residential buildings.
