Attacks by Settlers and Occupation in the West Bank and Jerusalem

SadaNews - Today, Friday, settlers attacked two young men in the "Dhahr Rajal" area, north of the town of Deir Ballut in the west of Salfit Governorate.

Local sources reported that the settlers assaulted the two young men while they were in the area, beating them, which led to injuries.

Additionally, settlers razed lands and uprooted trees in the town of Turmusaya, northeast of Ramallah.

The local sources indicated that the settlers' bulldozers uprooted dozens of olive trees while leveling lands on the outskirts of the town to facilitate the colonial expansion of the settler enclaves surrounding the "Shilo" settlement established on citizens' lands in Turmusaya.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces uprooted dozens of olive trees in the towns of Biddu and Beit Iksa, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, under the pretext of their proximity to the separation wall and the racist expansion, and the military checkpoint established at the entrance of the village.

The towns of Biddu and Beit Iksa, located northwest of Jerusalem, are witnessing repeated assaults by the occupation forces and settlers, including the leveling of agricultural lands and uprooting of trees, as part of the pressure on Palestinian citizens and the isolation of Palestinian villages surrounding Jerusalem through the wall and military checkpoints.

It is noteworthy that the wall erected in this area has resulted in the confiscation of thousands of dunams of citizens' lands, as well as separating towns northwest of Jerusalem from their natural surroundings, restricting farmers' access to their agricultural lands, which has negatively impacted agricultural activity and the livelihoods of the residents.
