Lebanon Decides to Stop and Deport Iranian Elements, and Israel Requests Evacuation of the Suburb
SadaNews - The Lebanese government decided on Thursday to prohibit any military or security activity conducted by members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in Lebanon.
Minister of Information Paul Marquess explained, after the conclusion of the Cabinet session at the Grand Serail chaired by Nawaf Salam, that the Prime Minister requested necessary measures to prevent any military or security activity by members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in Lebanon as a prelude to their deportation.
He added: The Prime Minister pointed out that he heard yesterday accusations against the Lebanese government suggesting that it aligns with Israeli demands and is accused of implementing Israeli resolutions, stating that he cannot remain silent about such claims, referring to the speech of Naeem Qassem, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah.
Salam emphasized that those who commit the sin are the ones who have dragged Lebanon into repercussions we could have avoided, and that slanderous speech is not courageous; it is irresponsible and incites sedition.
In a related context, the Israeli army ordered all Lebanese in most areas of the southern suburb of Beirut to evacuate immediately in preparation for bombardment.
