Italy Plans to Send Air Defense Assistance to Gulf States
SadaNews: Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced on Thursday that Rome intends to send air defense assistance to Gulf countries in response to Iranian aerial attacks.
Meloni stated through one of the radio stations akin to those in Britain, France, and Germany, that Italy plans to provide assistance to Gulf nations, specifically in the field of defense, particularly air defense.
She added, "This is not just about being friendly nations, but also because tens of thousands of Italians live in the region, and around two thousand Italian soldiers are deployed there. These are people we want to protect, and we must protect them."
