Survey: 91.5% of Israelis Support War on Iran

SadaNews - A significant majority of Israelis, at 91.5%, expressed their support for the Israeli-American war on Iran, with only 4.5% saying they oppose the war.

Seventy-four percent believe that the war should continue until the Iranian regime is overthrown, while 18% consider that a ceasefire should be sought after exhausting efforts to target Iran's military capabilities. Three percent believe that a ceasefire should be pursued as quickly as possible, according to a survey published by the "Institute for National Security Studies" at Tel Aviv University today, Wednesday.

The confidence levels in Israeli military branches are as follows: Home Front Command 94%; Air Force 93%; Israel Defense Forces 90%; Military Intelligence Corps 83%; Israeli government 40%; Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Eyal Zamir 71%; Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu 38%.

Seventy-five percent believe that the Iranian regime will be significantly targeted, with 25% believing that the regime will completely collapse.

Furthermore, 86.5% stated that the objective of the war on Iran is clear to them, with 68% estimating that the Iranian nuclear program will be significantly harmed, while 73% believe that the Iranian missile system will be substantially affected. Twenty percent think that the missile system will be barely harmed or will not be harmed at all, with 75% estimating that the Iranian regime will be greatly harmed, and 14% stating it will be slightly harmed.

Sixty-two percent estimate that the war on Iran will last a maximum of one month, and 62% believe that Israelis can live in a state of war for this duration, while 29% consider they can endure more than a month of war.

Forty-nine percent believe that U.S. President Donald Trump supports Israel when it serves his personal interests, while 35% believe he is very committed to Israel's security. Sixteen percent stated he is an unpredictable leader and difficult to rely on regarding security issues.

Forty-five percent rate the Israeli national security situation as good or very good, while 19% say it is bad or very bad. Additionally, 68% express concern over external threats.

Furthermore, 82% stated they are worried about internal social tensions, while 17% reported that they are not concerned.

The sense of personal security among Israelis appears to have declined since the beginning of the war on Iran. Forty-one percent reported an average feeling of security, and 25% indicated that their sense of security is low or has decreased compared to the weeks prior to the war, while 31% said they feel secure or very secure.
