Israeli Airstrikes on Lebanon and Evacuations Warning for 30 Southern Towns

SadaNews - The Israeli occupation army issued an urgent warning at dawn on Wednesday to the residents of 30 towns and villages in southern Lebanon, demanding their evacuation in preparation for bombardment, claiming to have detected activities of "Hezbollah" there.

The spokesperson for the occupation army, Avichai Adraee, stated in a statement: "An urgent warning to the residents of Lebanon, specifically in the villages and towns of Rab' Thalathin, Markaba, Hula, Qal'at Dibba, Qabrih, Tulain, Al-Khirba, Shuqra, Al-Sawana, Majdal Salim, Al-Tamriya, Al-Tayri, Talousa, Safad Al-Bateekh, Jamijima, and Bani Hayan."

Later, a similar warning was directed to the residents of the villages and towns of "Mimala, Al-Baramin, Beit Lifi, Yatir, Kafra, Sadiqin, Zabaqeen, Jabal Al-Batm, Rashkanania, Deir Amis, Qana, Majdal Zoun, Al-Shayatiya, and Al-Ramadiya."

Adraee urged the residents of those areas to evacuate their homes "immediately" and to stay at least one kilometer away from them.

The occupation claimed that "Hezbollah's activities compel the Defense Army to act strongly against it."

This morning, the occupation army also issued an urgent warning targeting a building in Harat Hreik in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of 11 citizens and the injury of 23 others in a series of intensive Israeli airstrikes targeting - early Wednesday - Mount Lebanon and Baalbek.

The new airstrikes came a day after bloody raids that left 50 martyrs and hundreds of wounded.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health confirmed the martyrdom of 6 people and the injury of 8 as a result of an Israeli attack on Aramnoun and Al-Sadiyat in Mount Lebanon.

In the city of Baalbek in the Bekaa, the Lebanese news agency reported that 5 martyrs fell and 15 others were injured, with 3 others considered missing due to an Israeli airstrike on a residential complex consisting of 4 floors in the city.

A loud explosion was heard yesterday in Beirut amid strikes carried out by Israel in Lebanon, and columns of smoke rose from the southern suburbs after Israel launched new airstrikes on them and on the heights in southern Lebanon.
