Rutte Praises the War on Iran but Confirms NATO's Non-Involvement
SadaNews - NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte praised the U.S.-Israeli military operation against Iran on Monday, stating that it weakens Tehran's ability to develop nuclear and ballistic missile capabilities, but he affirmed that the alliance will not participate in it.
He told the German channel (ARD) in Brussels: "What the United States is doing, in cooperation with Israel, is very important because it weakens Iran's ability to possess nuclear and ballistic missile capabilities."
He added: "There are absolutely no plans for NATO to engage in this operation, except for member countries of the alliance doing what they can individually to support what the United States is doing in cooperation with Israel."
