Occupation Closes Al-Aqsa Mosque for the Third Day Amid West Bank Lockdown
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces continued to close the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque for the third consecutive day.
The Jerusalem governorate reported that the occupation authorities prevented worshippers from entering the mosque under the pretext of declaring a state of emergency, amid heavy deployment of their forces around it and the gates of the Old City, blocking citizens from entering its courtyards.
The occupation forces had closed the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Saturday morning, forcing worshippers to leave, and also prohibited the performance of the Isha and Taraweeh prayers there.
The closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque comes in conjunction with the announcement by the occupation army of a lockdown on the West Bank, following hours of a wide-ranging attack launched by Israel and the United States on Iran.
