Katz: Hezbollah Secretary-General "Naim Qassem" Has Become a Target for Elimination
SadaNews - Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that Hezbollah will pay a heavy price as a result of firing towards Israel, affirming that the organization's Secretary-General, Naim Qassem, has become a direct target for elimination.
Katz added that Israel will not tolerate any threats coming from Hezbollah, pointing out that Israeli leadership sees the continuation of attacks as a crossing of red lines that necessitates a severe response.
In his statements, Katz linked the course of Hezbollah with the approach followed by Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, saying that those who follow this path "will meet the same fate," indicating that Israel considers this alliance a strategic threat to its national security.
These statements come amid escalating tensions on Israel's northern borders, where the security situation is in a state of alert with ongoing exchanges of fire between the Israeli army and Hezbollah.
