Netanyahu: The Attack on Tehran Will Intensify in the Coming Days

SadaNews - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged on Sunday to intensify airstrikes on Tehran in the coming days, affirming the mobilization of "full forces" in the campaign against Iran.

Netanyahu stated in a televised remark: "I have instructed to continue the campaign... Our forces are now striking the heart of Tehran with extreme force, and this will escalate in the coming days."

He added: "We are engaged in a campaign where the Israeli army is mobilizing its full power as never before, to ensure our existence and future."

The Israeli Prime Minister also offered his condolences to the families of those killed in Iranian strikes, assuring that his country is going through "hard days."

This comes as the Israeli ambulance service reported that nine people were killed today, Sunday, in a missile attack targeting the town of Beit Shemesh.

Israel has announced that it launched a new wave of attacks on Tehran today in order to control the airspace over the Iranian capital.

The Israeli army stated that its air forces carried out strikes over the past day to open "the path to Tehran," noting that most air defense systems in western and central Iran have been destroyed.

It added, "We targeted Ali Khamenei in a precise and extensive operation conducted by the Israeli air force, guided by accurate military intelligence, while he was at his command center in the heart of Tehran, accompanied by several other senior officials."

However, Israeli military spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani told reporters that there are still a large number of existing targets, including military industrial production sites. He added, "We have the capabilities and the targets that drive us to continue working as long as it is necessary."
