Relief Organizations Urge Israeli Supreme Court to Lift Ban on Their Work in Gaza and the West Bank
SadaNews - International humanitarian organizations have submitted a petition to the Israeli Supreme Court to halt the enforcement of a decision that would end the work of 37 non-governmental organizations in the occupied Gaza Strip and West Bank.
These organizations warned of "catastrophic consequences" for civilians there.
These 17 organizations, including "Doctors Without Borders," "Oxfam," the "Norwegian Refugee Council," and the international organization "CARE," were notified on December 30, 2025, that their registration with the Israeli authorities had expired, and they have a 60-day period to renew it by submitting a list of their Palestinian staff members.
These organizations refuse to provide the names of their workers, especially of Palestinians, to Israel.
