Hebrew Channel: Israel Prepares for the Possibility of American Restrictions on Attacks Against Iran

Translation by SadaNews - The Hebrew channel Reshet Kan reported on Monday evening that Israel is preparing for the possibility that the United States will impose restrictions or a veto on an Israeli attack against Iran, at least regarding the opening strike specifically in the early hours following a potential American attack.

According to the channel, as translated by SadaNews, Israel understands that if the Iranians carry out an attack against Israel, such as launching ballistic missiles or a similar attack, the Israeli Air Force will get the green light from the United States to attack Iran immediately as part of Israel's right to defend its sovereignty.

It noted that coordination between the United States and Israel is also taking place on other issues, including the matter of ballistic missiles, which is a significant concern for Israel and critical for its security.

The report stated that there has been no American decision yet on whether the opening strike in Iran will be conducted entirely independently, meaning a 100% American attack without the involvement of other countries.

It pointed out that the security establishment has requested an increase in its budget by billions of shekels due to preparations for an attack on Iran.

On its part, Channel 12 reported that Israel has no information regarding the timing of the potential American strike against Iran.

Meanwhile, Axios reported from sources that the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff alerted Trump and senior officials about the risks of a military campaign against Iran, and that the Chairman was more cautious regarding Iran compared to his enthusiasm for the operation in Venezuela.

An American official said: Trump tasked a small team to study the situation in Iran and present options that he could adopt.

The sources indicated that Trump insisted on further negotiations from both Yitkov and Kushner with Iran to ensure all avenues are exhausted.
