According to the newspaper, the number of Israelis aware of what is happening between the United States and Iran is extremely limited, and they can be counted on one hand; a "very small group of individuals connected to the American administration."

The level of secrecy surrounding these developments is classified as among the highest recorded in recent years, even exceeding the level from before the Israeli attack on Iran last June, when a number of senior ministers and government members were informed of the strikes prior to their execution.

However, this time, according to sources familiar with the details, the secrecy is "almost complete," as Israeli government ministers know nothing about what is happening or about the American, and possibly American-Israeli plans, regarding Iran in the coming days and weeks.

One minister said that "the assessments they have do not differ from those published in foreign media, or statements by White House officials to reporters," but he confirmed that "they do not have any internal information about what is happening."

According to "Maariv," given this high level of secrecy, if the attack is American, or perhaps a joint American-Israeli one, it will be necessary to "isolate" the ministers who are privy to certain information, as they will not be allowed to move freely, and they will be asked to remain in a secure location to maintain confidentiality.

It is worth noting that the Israeli cabinet meeting, which was supposed to be held as usual every Thursday, has been postponed to Sunday, just 24 hours before its scheduled time.

Israeli government sources indicate that "this postponement may have significance in the context of recent regional tensions."
