Report: Trump Administration Closer to Waging a Major War Against Iran
SadaNews - Axios reported that the Trump administration is closer to launching a major war against Iran, adding that it could start "very soon".
Two American sources stated that a military operation against Iran would likely be a massive campaign lasting weeks, resembling a total war more than the "limited and precise" operation conducted last month in Venezuela.
The sources indicated that it would likely be a joint campaign between the United States and "Israel", broader in scope, and more threatening to the regime's existence than the war led by "Israel" for 12 days last June.
Such a war would have a dramatic impact on the entire region and significant repercussions for the remaining three years of Trump's presidency.
Trump nearly ordered a strike against Iran in early January, but when the window of opportunity passed, the administration shifted to a dual-track approach: nuclear talks in parallel with a massive military buildup.
