"Suspicious Package" at Netanyahu's Office.. Urgent Security Action
SadaNews - The Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that a specialized bomb disposal unit was dispatched to the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following the arrival of a suspicious package suspected of containing an explosive device.
The newspaper added that the police sent forensic specialists to Netanyahu's office along with a mobile forensic lab and investigators to examine the package.
Reports indicated that security forces imposed a security cordon around the office, while police and relevant authorities began an investigation to determine whether the incident constitutes a direct targeting attempt of the official premises or of the Israeli Prime Minister himself.
So far, no results have been released regarding the technical examination of the suspicious package, and authorities have not reported any injuries.
