Officials: Trump Will Announce a Plan to Finance Gaza During the First Peace Council Meeting
SadaNews - Two American officials said that U.S. President Donald Trump will announce the deployment of thousands of troops from several countries as part of the so-called International Stabilization Force, as part of a plan being presented during the Peace Council meeting, according to Reuters on Thursday.
According to the officials, Trump will provide a comprehensive briefing on the International Stabilization Force dedicated to the Gaza Strip during the council meeting, anticipating the participation of delegations from at least 20 countries, including several heads of state.
They added that the American president will also announce a multi-billion dollar financing plan earmarked for Gaza during the first meeting of the Peace Council next week, in a move aimed at supporting stability and reconstruction in the area.
