Shabak Announces "Dismantling Network Directed by Lebanese" Planning Operations in the West Bank
SadaNews - The Israeli General Security Service (Shabak) announced on Tuesday the arrest of an armed cell in the West Bank.
According to the Arabic-speaking Kan Channel, this cell was recruited by Lebanese entities, planning to carry out armed operations against Israeli targets. Five individuals were arrested, and indictments were filed against them.
According to investigations, the case began with Muhammad Sadqa from the village of Anza, who traveled to Lebanon and was recruited by Musa Abu Saif, a member of a network known as "Jibril," to work on recruiting cells in the West Bank. After returning through Jordan, Sadqa recruited other activists from Ramallah and Anza, and they were arrested for interrogation.
The investigations also revealed a second cell recruited by a Lebanese activist named Mujahid Dahasha, in collaboration with other Lebanese elements, which included two individuals in their twenties from the village of Tal.
The suspects were trained in the use of firearms, photographing residential sites, and transferring money to purchase combat equipment.
Shabak indicated that Dahasha was leading the network with the aim of executing terrorist operations against Israel, and that the Lebanese network communicated with the cells via social media and mobile applications.
