Injuries in Attacks by Settlers in the West Bank

SadaNews - Three citizens were injured on Saturday in attacks by settlers in the Khallat area of the Jordan Valley. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that the three citizens were beaten during a settlers' attack, and one of them was transferred for treatment. Settlers also forced livestock herders in various areas of the northern Jordan Valley to leave their pastures. Local sources indicated that settlers forced citizens in several areas of the northern Jordan Valley to vacate the pastures, preventing them from grazing their livestock there and expelling them from the lands. They added that settlers have escalated their attacks against citizens and their properties in all areas of the northern Jordan Valley in recent days. Settlers grazed their sheep among the homes of citizens in the central Fasayil village north of Jericho. Hassan Malihat, the general supervisor of the "Baydar" organization for defending the rights of Bedouins, explained that settlers grazed their sheep among the homes of citizens in the central Fasayil area and broke into the house of the Abiat family. He pointed out that this incursion comes amidst a rise in violations against citizens and their properties in the area. Meanwhile, Israeli occupation police detained a citizen east of Bethlehem, while settlers attacked residents in several areas, preventing them from working on their lands. Local sources reported that the occupation police pursued a citizen from the Rashayida village to the Al-Minya village east of Bethlehem before detaining him and seizing his vehicle. They added that settlers invaded the Al-Minya village to the east, and the Khallat al-Nahla area in the Wadi Rahal village to the south, and assaulted citizens, driving them off their agricultural lands and preventing them from working there. They also allowed their sheep to graze in the agricultural lands owned by citizens, causing damage to crops and the livelihoods of the locals. Settlers also grazed their sheep in the plain of the Al-Mughayyir village east of Ramallah. Local sources indicated that settlers grazed their sheep in areas near the Khala'il, close to citizens' homes, and damaged properties and agricultural crops. It is noteworthy that settlers attacked the southern area of the village the day before yesterday, assaulting residents while they were grazing their livestock.
