Israeli Military Source: We Need Two More Years to Destroy All Tunnels in Gaza
SadaNews - An Israeli military source estimated on Thursday that the Israeli army needs two more years to completely destroy the tunnels in the Gaza Strip.
Israeli Channel 12 reported from the source, stating that "the army has only been able to deal with about half of the tunnels in the Gaza Strip," explaining: "We have launched a fierce campaign against Hamas's secret network, and dealing with all the tunnels may take another two years," according to the source.
These statements come nearly two and a half years after the start of the Gaza war, and amid preparations to move to the second phase of the ceasefire agreement.
Despite the Gaza agreement, Israel continues to carry out attacks almost daily in the Gaza Strip, particularly within the yellow line area controlled by the Israeli occupation forces.
