The movement clarified that the occupation's claims of a shooting incident targeting one of its soldiers are nothing more than a "lame excuse" to justify the ongoing killing and aggression against Palestinian civilians.

Hamas called on the mediators and the guarantor countries of the agreement to take a firm stance against what it described as "war criminal Netanyahu's behavior," indicating that the continuous aggression despite moving to the second phase and opening the Rafah crossing represents a deliberate sabotage of efforts to establish a ceasefire.
