5000 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque since the beginning of the year
SadaNews: The blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem has witnessed a dangerous escalation since the beginning of this year, with approximately five thousand settlers storming its courtyards, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation police, according to the Jerusalem governorate.
The settlers have not only been satisfied with repeated intrusions but have also conducted unprecedented acts inside the mosque, including organizing religious lessons in its courtyards, in an attempt to impose a new reality that contradicts the sanctity of the place and its Islamic character.
Additionally, the frequency of religious rituals performed by the settlers in the Al-Aqsa courtyards has increased, including singing and dancing with the participation of rabbis, which has sparked widespread discontent in Jerusalemite and Palestinian circles, as it is seen as a blatant violation of the sanctity of the mosque.
In the same context, dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque today, Wednesday, in groups, and performed Talmudic rituals in front of the western courtyard adjacent to the Dome of the Rock, in a scene that reflects the continuation of the occupation's policy of institutionalizing daily incursions and providing security cover for them.
