Saudi Arabia Emphasizes Condemnation of Israeli Violations in Gaza
SadaNews - The Saudi Council of Ministers emphasized on Tuesday the contents of the statement issued by the foreign ministers of the Kingdom and Arab and Islamic countries, which included a condemnation of the violations by the Israeli occupation forces of the ceasefire in Gaza.
The Saudi council considered that these violations undermine the international efforts aimed at consolidating the truce, establishing stability, and moving forward towards the implementation of the second phase of the peace plan; leading to a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace that enables the Palestinian people to establish their independent state.
The council renewed, during the session chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Prime Minister, in Riyadh, its steadfast positions regarding the developments in regional and international situations, and its support for efforts aimed at resolving disputes through dialogue that enhances security and stability in the region and the world, following its review of all the discussions and consultations that took place in recent days between the Kingdom and a number of fraternal and friendly countries.
The council commended the response of the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to Saudi Arabia's efforts and the efforts made by the United States; to reach a ceasefire agreement that is hoped to contribute to supporting this brotherly country's path towards peace, security, and stability, and to achieve the aspirations of its people and enhance its national unity.
