The UAE Seeks to Take Over Civil Administration of Gaza
SadaNews - Channel 12 Hebrew reported that the United Arab Emirates is seeking to take over the civil administration of the Gaza Strip, which includes control over trade and the regulation of markets. This move comes as part of advanced negotiations with the United States and Israel, during which drafts of an agreement have been exchanged, and it seems that the signing of the agreement is imminent.
The channel mentioned that the plan includes sending forces to secure the UAE's logistical operations in Gaza, in coordination with American security companies to ensure effective implementation.
Additionally, the UAE aims to purchase all goods coming from Israel to Gaza and utilize Israeli contractors, while upgrading distribution centers to become key logistical points for distributing goods to the private sector in Gaza, a move that could significantly change the management of trade and services in the sector.
